About the gathering
Around the Fire has been inspired by the idea of coming together around the fire in community. As part of it, Ali is developing a co-creative practice she's calling 'Co-Flow' - going into the Imaginal and playing with layers of reality together.
This is a special coming together, marking the birth of Edwina's book - Wise Women Rising.
What will happen:
-
Opening the gathering*
-
Chat with Edwina and Q&A
-
Co-Flow - Into The Wild Wood
-
Reflections and co-created Wild Woman Rising poem
-
Farewell to the fire
As we'll be talking about the book, there will very likely be spoilers.
Get your copy to read - £13 + £3.90 postage.

What you may like to have with you:
*Something to light as part of opening the circle - a candle, lamp, fairy lights etc. - that can remain lit throughout the gathering until the end
A brew, blankets, cushions
Pen and paper to note down questions

How it is neuro-friendly
-
You contribute just by coming. There is no demand to do anything. It's all just invitation.
-
Keep your camera off or turn it off whenever you like.
-
No need to sit still staring at the screen. You can look away, fidget, stim - whatever helps you regulate and feel comfortable.
-
Use the Chat to communicate if you prefer.
-
No hierarchy - we're all important, we all matter. These circles are about coming together to co-create. Each time will be a unique collaborative event.
-
You are welcome to get in touch before or after a circle to share any needs you might have.
IMPORTANT: By the nature of this work, some powerful stuff may come up at times. While Ali is trained/experienced in offering emotional support and holding space, everyone is responsible for themselves during the gatherings and taking care of their own wellbeing.
Come, sisters, gather in circle.
Bring a seat of your choosing
– rocking chair, rug, stool;
a throne, if you’re so inclined.
We are all queens, sovereign to ourselves.
Show up as you like; nothing is fixed.
We’re curators of this liminal space.
Sit, sisters,
around this communal fire we’ve made.
Settle yourselves.
We’ll begin.
